Customer Success & Growth Lead
May 2026

Branch's mission is bold: we want to revolutionize AEC design software. This isn't BIM 2.0 or generative design. We want to enable new design space and change the relationship designers and engineers have with software by crafting it into a power tool to realize design intent. We believe software has an indelible impact on the quality of the built environment, and we are committed to setting an exceptionally high standard for our tools.

Branch is incubated within StructureCraft and benefits from StructureCraft's world-class engineering expertise and experience delivering award-winning mass timber projects worldwide. We benefit from StructureCraft's long-term vision that enables us to take on genuinely hard bets without the pressure that comes from venture funding.

We are currently in the pilot stage for Branch Concept, an application for early concept-level structural design. The early design phase of a building is the most ambiguous, yet also most impactful phase of a building project. We want to deliver real-time feedback on design decisions, seamless optioneering and feasibility studies, built-in displays of environmental impact, empowering our users to deliver beautiful and efficient structures.

Concept Lite is a demo application our team built in three months in early 2025. While the application is simple, it's a taste of what's possible and the type of experience we're aiming to deliver.

This is a founding go-to-market role at Branch. Our early customers are architects, engineers, and AEC professionals running real projects through Branch Concept, and we need someone who can sit shoulder-to-shoulder with them as they learn the tool. Your work will start with making our pilots successful, and grow into defining how Branch Concept is positioned, sold, and scaled as we move toward pilots and commercial launch. You'll be the connective tissue between our customers and our product team, and you'll shape the customer-facing process that help us scale.

You are the right candidate if you

  • Are wired for customer relationships. You enjoy spending time with users, take their feedback personally, and treat each pilot participant like a partner rather than a test subject.
  • Have product marketing instincts. You think in positioning, messaging, and customer stories, and you can translate a deeply technical product into language designers actually use.
  • Write well, and write a lot. Most of this role is written work: onboarding docs, case studies, customer notes back to product, conference talks, website copy.
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity. Founding hires define their own role, and we will figure out together what beta and general availability look like.
  • Learn quickly. No prior experience in AEC is required but strongly preferred, but we will immerse you in our domain and you should be hungry for it.

You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing, customer success, or a closely related GTM role at an early-stage software company, ideally one selling a technical or design-led product. We will evaluate fit by talking through your prior projects, the customer relationships you have built, and the GTM work (positioning, launches, content, case studies) you have owned end-to-end. Background in AEC is a plus but not required. Hands-on design or engineering experience of any kind is a plus.

Your skills will be applied to making Branch Concept's customers successful and building the customer-facing motion that will carry us from pilot to general availability.

Your day-to-day will consist of

  • Pilot success. You will embed with our current pilot participants, run onboarding, train new users, and stay close as they put Branch Concept to work on real projects. Their success is your primary objective.
  • Customer learning and synthesis. You will turn every pilot conversation into structured insight that informs the product roadmap. You will be the voice of the customer inside Branch.
  • Positioning, messaging, and content. You will own how we describe Branch Concept publicly across our website, conference talks, demo scripts, case studies, blog, and social channels. You will set the editorial cadence, partner with product to make the story sharp, and build our point of view in AEC software.
  • Pilot expansion. You will find, qualify, and onboard the next cohort of pilot users. You will build the pilot motion that scales from a handful of architects to a few dozen.
  • GTM groundwork. As we approach general availability, you will partner with leadership on pricing, packaging, and the early sales motion. You will not own these alone, but you provide input and lead the execution.

This is a permanent, full-time position, flexible on location. We're a distributed, remote-first team spanning multiple time zones. Expect regular travel to attend AEC industry events, roughly 15% of your time on average.  Our team is fewer than 10 people, and our environment is fast-paced and dynamic: your ideas will contribute significantly to evolving the product and shaping the future of AEC software.
